My first Fruit & Veg series was with my original medium of choice pastels. Working with pastels, I learned how to be patient and layer colors to get the richness and fullness of a shape. I eventually switched to water soluble oils to eliminate the need for spray fix. I completed my second series of Fruit & Veg using water soluble oils, a medium which drys faster than traditional oils, to create layers of color to show depth and radiance.
